Liping Martinez — Executive Director

Liping was born and raised in mainland China, had a normal childhood with three brothers and sisters, living in the Northeastern part of China (Manchuria), sailing through 12 years of grade school, enjoying both academics and athletic competition.  Upon graduation from high school, she entered Northeastern University of Finance and Economics. After college Liping was selected to be part of the opening of an economic zone in Shenzhen, a southern-most city near Hong Kong.  She worked for 8 years in the Imports & Exports industry and as a managing director for a High-Tech Startup company.

In 1997, Liping decided to move to the USA.  With her adventurous mind she left friends and family behind and headed for California. In the USA she earned her MBA degree from Azusa Pacific University in California. While completing her MBA she started to serve as the Mission director for a local church. In 2011 she took on the position of Executive Director for Word4Asia. She has a passion to serve in ministry on a global scale. Of course, China is an obvious fit with her background and superb bi-lingual skills.  Her business education makes a perfect fit as she manages millions of dollars, international exchanges, and project management.

Liping lives in Prescott, Arizona, currently and does most of her work from her home office. She enjoys the freedom to travel for both work and leisure, and she tries to stay active physically. She plays pickleball in a club, practices heat yoga and loves to tend her garden, plant trees, and design flowerbeds. Her daughter Jacie lives in Southern California. Liping is a member of Willow Hills Baptist Church.
